--Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize/News
Photography, two years in a row, by the editors of The Miami
Herald.
--Won national awards for eight corporate annual reports.
--Won national awards for newspaper coverage of riots,
education, and news features.
--Have done on-location photography (unescorted) throughout
the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Europe for
major corporations - including Cargill, Control Data, Peavey,
Multifoods, Tonka Toys, Northwest and Republic
airlines, TCF and NORWEST banks systems, etc.
--In recent years have been a stringer for New York TIMES, The
Washington POST, Associated Press,
and UPI.
--Guest lecturer at Univ. of Minnesota, St. Thomas College,
and other schools.-
--Official Photographer for The Minnesota VIKINGS NFL football
team from 1970 -74.
--Naval Aviation flight instructor for 6 1/2 years,
teaching 10,000 over flight students.
--Trombonist for "The Better Than Nothing Dirt Band"
(twice conducted by Sir Neville Mariner).
-- Decorated, disabled veteran
Also dove(SCUBA) 150' in the Gulf of Mexico, Won Class "E" trophies racing a TR3, and flown T28C, SNJ, and SNB naval aircraft.
